Old growth forests are home to some of the oldest and tallest organisms living on the planet and still exist today in British Columbia. Nearly 55,000 hectares of these forests are being logged every year, leaving 3% of Canadian old growths still in existence. We spoke to Andrea Inness, a campaigner from the executive team of Ancient Forest Alliance, about what is happening to old forest trees in B.C., why they’re endangered and how we can get involved.
