Shooting is a real sport but a very underfunded one. It's nothing like Football or Basketball, but it is a team sport where competitors work to become the best in their field. Unfortunately, today's young competitors lack support for things like firearm safety and competing professionally. In addition, young shooting teams must have the education and discipline to excel in a particular sports area. MidwayUSA Foundation is a public charity working to sustain and grow shooting sports by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams.
